Dark Knight Rises, was amazing. I was skeptical about Anne Hathaway for Catwoman, and in the first couple of her scenes i think her portrayal was fantastic; real strength in her character, clear definition between when she was ‘cat woman’ and when she was pretending to be someone else, but i did feel that it kind of fell flat throughout the duration of the film. Loosing her sassy edge shown in her earliest appearance. Having said that her performance wasn’t at all bad, maybe she just gave me too much too soon? I did also find Bane’s voice a bit unfitting. But eh. Great movie, great twist. Fantastic end to the current Batman Series. I don’t want to spoil anything by saying more than that =P
Ice Age, was quite a let down. Beautiful animation as expected, but a really unoriginal storyline. I even found Scrat’s infamous mini plot predictable and somewhat repetitive. I don’t want to write anymore than that because from a kids point of view i’m sure it will be a great hit, i personally just feel that it’s let down the rest of the films. If i go on i feel like i might start sounding like i’m really slating the series. So yup. That’s that. More movies please.
