I just ran this. Twice. That’s 4.6 miles (there and back) according to google maps. I’m actually quite proud. No, i’m very proud. I’ve literally never run that far all at once. Literally. Not figuratively. Literally, never run that far in one go. I did have a breather and a stretch but anyway.Proud.

I ran with Miss Ellie, which was great motivation, she’s a bit of a pro.. i’m guessing she was running really slow (for herself) to go at my pace though hahaha but still… i did good? =P

Tea date at Metro Deco, Kemptown. Maxim had green tea and jasmine, pictured above. I had the terracotta sunburst which was a fruity, slightly sweet rhubarb tea which even had a creamy custardy tone! I love it so much, I went a bought a pack of loose leaves ^_^

Lunch date with maxim yesterday at Metro Deco, a wonderful little boutique tea house (as opposed to coffee house) complete with 1920s music and antique furniture, which you could also purchase!

Such a lovely place, friendly staff, a good variety of unusual teas and delicious food at good prices!

If you’re ever in Kemptown, or in Brighton wanting something a little quieter, just outside of the busy city centre, this place is a must see!!

Will definitely be visiting again, I want to try all the teas!
